The Office of the Public Defender is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Public Defender position. Applicant must be a law school graduate and licensed to practice law in Illinois. Previous professional experience in criminal law is required. A successful applicant must have acceptable communication and organizational skills. This is an entry level position in a high-volume office. Salary is commensurate with experience, with a range of $55,000-$90,000 per year.
